KVKK and Privacy Policy

This notice has been prepared to explain, pursuant to Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), how your personal data is processed when you visit the manisyapi.com website, use the contact form on the site, or contact us by e-mail or phone.

Data Controller

Under the KVKK, the data controller is Man-İş Yapı İzolasyon Metal Çatı Kaplamaları San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., located at Şerifali Mh. Söyleşi Sk. No: 29, Ümraniye / İstanbul. Our e-mail address for questions and requests about your personal data: [email protected]

Personal Data Processed

  • Contact form and correspondence: When you fill in the contact form, your name and surname, e-mail address, the content of your message, and your IP address and browser information at the time you send the form; when you e-mail or call us, the contact details you share and the content of the correspondence.
  • Visit statistics: Information such as the pages you view, the time you spend on the site, your device and browser type, your approximate location (country and city level), the source that brought you to the site, clicks on phone or e-mail links, sending the contact form and downloading catalogue files. This information does not identify you by name; it only shows us overall usage trends.
  • Technical connection logs: Records such as IP address, browser information, and date and time of access, kept by the server and security infrastructure so that the site runs securely and without interruption.

Purposes and Legal Grounds of Processing

  • Responding to your contact, quotation, project and cooperation requests: being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f).
  • Ensuring the security of the site, preventing misuse and fixing technical problems: legitimate interest and compliance with legal obligations (KVKK art. 5/2-f and 5/2-ç).
  • Understanding how the site is used and improving its content (anonymous visit statistics): the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK art. 5/2-f). This measurement is carried out only at the level of aggregate statistics, with due regard for your fundamental rights and freedoms.
  • Advertising measurement and ad display (Google advertising cookies): only your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1). Explicit consent is given with the Accept option in the cookie banner and can be withdrawn at any time.

Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected through the contact form on the site and through e-mail and phone correspondence, by automated means via your browser during your visit, and through statistics cookies; advertising cookies are used only if you give your consent. Messages you send through the contact form are recorded in the site's administration panel together with your IP address and browser information at the time you send the form, and forwarded to us by e-mail.

Transfers and Transfers Abroad

Visit statistics are measured with Google LLC's Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager services. In this context, the pages you visit, where you came to the site from, your device and browser information, your approximate location (city level) and some of your actions on the site (clicking phone and e-mail links, sending the contact form, downloading catalogue files, scrolling to the end of a page) are transmitted to Google. When the fact that the form has been sent is transmitted, your name, e-mail address and message in the form are not transmitted. Google Analytics uses your IP address only to determine your approximate location and does not store it. This information does not identify you by name; it only shows us overall usage trends.

If you are signed in to your Google account and have allowed ad personalisation in your account, Google may associate this visit data with your account to produce cross-device and demographic summary statistics (Google Signals).

The fonts on the site are loaded from Google LLC's Google Fonts service; when pages open, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google. The map on the Contact page is loaded from Google Maps; when you open that page, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google so that the map can be displayed. The videos on the Home page and the In the Press page are loaded from Google's YouTube service when you click to play them; in that case your IP address and browser information are transmitted to YouTube. Unless you click on a video, no data is transmitted to YouTube.

If you choose the Accept option in the cookie banner, Google's advertising service (Google Ads) is activated: the pages you visit and your browser information are transmitted to Google to measure the results of our ads and to show our ads to you again on Google's advertising network (remarketing).

Information you send through the contact form and your e-mail correspondence are stored on the servers of the Turkey-based hosting provider of the site and of the corporate e-mail service. A copy of form messages is also sent by e-mail to the company that provides technical maintenance for the site. The site is published through the infrastructure of a security and content delivery service provider; this provider keeps the technical logs (IP address, time of visit, page opened) needed for the site to run securely. Your personal data may also be shared with authorised public institutions where required by law.

Since the servers of Google, of the e-mail service used by the site's technical maintenance company, and of the security and content delivery service provider are located abroad, data transmitted to these services is transferred abroad within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK. The transfer is made only for the purposes stated in this notice and to the extent necessary.

Your data is not sold. Advertising cookies are activated only if you choose the Accept option.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved to your browser by the websites you visit. Three types of cookies are used on this site:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: tk_cerez_onay remembers your cookie preference and is kept for 7 days. When needed, the site's security infrastructure may also set short-lived security cookies to distinguish malicious traffic (e.g. cf_clearance).
  • Statistics cookies (Google Analytics): _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies distinguish visits from one another to produce statistics showing how many people use the site and how; they are kept for up to 2 years. They are used whichever option you choose in the cookie banner.
  • Advertising cookies (Google Ads): _gcl_* and _gac_* prefixed cookies, kept for 90 days. For the same purpose, a record may also be written to your browser's local storage (_gcl_ls). They are set only if you choose the Accept option in the cookie banner.

When you open one of the videos, YouTube sets cookies on its own domain, such as YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA (kept for up to 180 days; their use is subject to Google's privacy policy).

Statistics Only option means that advertising cookies are not set and no data is shared for advertising purposes; only the strictly necessary cookie and statistics measurement that does not directly identify you continue. If you previously chose the Accept option, then when you switch to the Statistics Only option, the advertising cookies and the local storage record on the site's own domain are deleted. The Accept option also activates advertising cookies. Visit data in Google Analytics is deleted after 14 months.

The site's security and performance infrastructure also produces aggregate visit statistics without using cookies and without identifying you. The Facebook link on the site only opens the relevant page in a new tab; unless you click it, no data is transmitted to Facebook.

You can change your cookie preference at any time: Change my cookie preference. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

Retention Period

Your personal data, including contact form records and e-mail correspondence, is kept for the period required by the purpose of processing and the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

  • Learning whether your personal data is processed and, if so, requesting information about it,
  • Learning the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • Knowing the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom the data is transferred,
  • Requesting correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
  • Requesting deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • Requesting that correction, deletion and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • Objecting to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
  • Requesting compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

Application

You can submit your requests regarding these rights by e-mail, or in writing to the address in the Data Controller section, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible according to its nature and within 30 days at the latest. Our e-mail address for applications: [email protected]
